We're thrilled to announce the release of our 2015-16 annual report. Over the past 18 months FRIENDS FIRST has accomplished so much. While we are heavily grant funded, we continue to set goals and reach them, quickly becoming a leader in the world of peer-to-peer mentoring. I believe that here at FRIENDS FIRST we have a knack for writing grants, but we have plans in the next three years to become more balanced in our financial structure. And with the licensing of our STARS program taking off in 2017 -- we've gained new partners in Colorado and across the U.S. already this year -- we are confident that earned income and donations will grow, allowing us to diversify our abilities, meet our goals and mentor more teens across the country.
We invite you to take some time to review this report. Our students and staff have garnered a bevy of awards and accomplishments from their high schools, colleges and other nonprofits and organizations inside Colorado and out. We've expanded this report from two pages in past years to 10 this year, and I feel that this really shares a great picture of all that's going on at FRIENDS FIRST right now.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all, or if you would like to discuss anything further that you find inside. As always, we thank you for your continued support of FRIENDS FIRST!
