Doug Rudig

Doug Rudig’s degrees are a  Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, an Master’s Degree in Education and a Ph.D. in Administration, Supervision and Curriculum.  

 

His educational career includes being a classroom teacher, a district visual arts coordinator, a principal and a superintendent of schools in three districts.    

 

In addition to his educational career, he has also pursued creativity in the visual arts. Doug has written and illustrated three children’s books for the National Park Service: Zion National Park, Big Bend National Park and Bent’s Old Fort. He has also been contracted to complete artwork for other National Parks and Historic Sites, including: the Grand Canyon, Hot Springs National Park, Monument Valley, Navajo National Monument,  Hubbell Trading Post, Pea Ridge National Historic site and the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. He also created/published a cross-age reading series, entitled Read with Me. Doug is now enjoying retirement and is devoting time to two foundations he established: Families’ World Outreach and Global Art Reach.
